Pivoting to success
With the advent of the smart phone the consumer low vision sector began to be affected. Ash successfully pivoted into the industrial inspection market, using the Crystal device as the pivot device (originally designed for consumer but hugely successful in industry).
Integrating the familiar with new innovation
Omni is an industry leading HD digital microscope. With fully integrated and user friendly controls, it is the latest user-focused digital microscope from Ash and Dolmen’s 25-year long collaboration. The key design challenge was to create a high-tech product that felt as easy and intuitive to use as a traditional optical microscope.

This feature forms the centerpiece for the product, presenting a familiar design language for the optical market, helping to bring traditional users on the journey to digital magnification.
All key functions can be easily accessed and adjusted using a single, clear, intuitive circular interface.
